    THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE DANCING BELLES

    PREAMBLE

    We, the officer and members of DANCING BELLES at Lorma Grade School, Urbiztondo, san Juan, La Union, imploring the aid of our Almighty God in order to establish and maintain a standard organization that shall embody our love of democratic ideals and aspirations, promote our general welfare, support the school administration, promote discipline, conserve and develop the high standard of our school, and secure to ourselves the blessing of equality and contributes in the attainment of the conceived vision and mission of this institution do ordain, promulgate and adopt this constitution.

     

    Article I. NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE ORGANIZATION

    Sec. 1: The organization shall be know as the DANCING BELLES CLUB of Lorma College Grade School.
    Sec. 2: The main address and office of the organization shall be at LORMA Grade School, Urbiztondo, san Juan, La Union.

    Article II. AIMS AND PURPOSES

    Sec. 1: To help the students develop self-confidence.
    Sec. 2: To help the students discover talents in dancing.
    Sec. 3: To develop the student’s talent in bodily movement.
    Sec. 4: To develop camaraderie among fellow Lormanians.

    Article III. BILL OF RIGHTS

    Sec. 1: Every member of the club shall enjoy the following rights.


    a. The right to suggest and express improvements in Dance steps and the right to join in any dance showcase.

    Article IV. MEMBERSHIP


    Sec. 1: All interested pupils of Lorma Grade School.

    Article V. NATURE AND FUNCTIONS OF THE DANCING BELLES CL

    Sec. 1: The organization shall be composed of the following:

    a. Chairman
    b. Vice-Chairman
    c. Secretary
    d. Treasurer
    e. PRO
    f. Auditor
    g. Business Manager

    Sec. 2: The club through its officers shall function as bridge in helping the slow learners in dancing and shall be the one to disseminate steps to members.
    Sec. 3: The organization shall perform other functions may be requested by the Club Moderators and Program Organizers.

     

    Article VI. QUALIFICATION OF DANCING BELLES OFFICERS

    Sec. 1: Elected Dancing Belles Officers shall be a member of the club.
    Sec. 2: The Chairman of the club must come from higher grade.

    Article VII. ELECTION, APPOINTMENT, AND TENURE OF OFFICERS

    Sec. 1: The Dancing Belles officers shall be elected annually by the members.
    Sec. 2: The class mayor could no longer be elected as chairman of the club.

    Article VIII. POWERS AND DUTIES OF DANCING BELLES OFFICERS

    Sec. 1: The Chairman

    a. The Chairman shall be the head of the club.
    b. He shall represent the club on all occasions and matters where representation is required.
    c. The Chairman is also empowered to designate acting capacity in any member of the club to perform the duty of an absent officer.
    d. He shall exercise general supervision over all club activities and to perform other duties assigned to him by the moderators.
    e. He shall impose discipline during meeting.
    f. He shall implement the rules and regulations promulgated by the club.

    Sec. 2: The Vice-Chairman

    a. The Vice-Chairman shall take the place of the Chairman in case of prolonged absence, resignation in capacity and or removal of the latter office.
    b. He helps the Chairman implement the rules and regulations promulgated by the club.
    c. He coordinates the functions of the working committees of the club.
    d. He perform such other duties may be assigned to him by the Chairman.

    Sec. 3: The Secretary

    a. The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the meeting of the club and shall also be the custodian of all papers and records of the club.
    b. The Secretary shall call the roll of the members to determine attendance at the beginning of all meetings.
    c. He shall out notices of meetings to all officers and members and help the Chairman in the preparation of necessary correspondence.
    d. He performs such other duties as may be assigned to him by the moderators.

    Sec. 4: The Treasurer

    a. The Treasurer shall be the holder of the money or fund of the club.
    b. He shall give a financial report periodically as may be necessary and shall be liable as required by law and approved by the Chairman of the Club.
    c. He shall furnish the Moderators and the principal a copy of such financial report.
    d. The Treasurer shall also prepare and present annual budget showing the sources of income and the propose expenditure for consideration and approved by the Club.
    e. The Treasurer shall keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment marked them DANCING BELLES property.
    f. He performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Chairman.


    Sec. 5: The auditor

    a. The Auditor shall check and certify to the correctness of the financial report of the treasurer.
    b. He performs such other duties as may be assigned to him by the Chairman.


    Sec. 6: The Public Relations Officer (PRO)

    a. The PRO shall act as the liaison of the club in other organizations and to the faculty and to all concerned and all acts of the club.
    b. He assists the secretary in the latter’s functions and gathers all organization members at the place of the meeting when called for.

    Sec. 7: The Business Manager

    a. The Business Manager shall coordinate school programs, and/or fellowship and shall supervise the physical arrangements of the places where meetings and/or programs of the club shall be held.
    b. He shall take charge of the transactions of the club.
    c. He shall perform other duties as may be assigned by the Chairman.

    Article IX. MEETINGS

    Sec. 1: The main office and meeting of the club shall be at the Grade 4-jacinto room
    Sec. 2: Regular meetings of the club may be held every 2nd week and last Friday of the month.

     

    BY LAWS

    ARTICLE X. FEES AND DUTIES

    Sec. 1: All bonafide members of the club shall contribute a certain amount as the need arises.
    Sec. 2: Officers and members will come late in every meeting and not wearing complete uniform shall pay a penalty of which shall be agreed upon during the first regular meeting.
    Sec. 3: No other fees shall be required or imposed except when the need arises to the approval of the Moderators and the Principal.
