My Life as a Professional Bum is Over....
So, summer is over. As I look back upon it, I realized that I didn't do all that much. I actually never left the St. Louis metropolitan area. I worked a lot, so that took up a great deal of time. TJ Maxx seemed a tad lame this summer. The plus side is that I really got to know all the people there really well. I worked with more than I did last year or in the past probably since for the most part I was in the fitting room for most of last summer. However, my friend Kristin and I had a list of things to do this summer, and we actually did most of them. Neither one of us ever had HBO while Sex in the City was on air, but once they started on TBS we got hooked but thought we were probably missing all the juice. Then, we thought that we should rent them from the beginning so we see all the dirt that they won't air on TV. We did get all the way thur the third season. Now I'm hooked. I also got my wisdom teeth out this summer. That was interesting.
Now, here I am moved into Santa Clara, my on-campus apartment. It's small and falling apart, but hell its bigger than last year. This picture is the apartment just after I got moved in, but obviously not settled.
My Summer To Do List
- go to Six Flags
- have a picnic
- watch Sex and the City from the beginning
- go for a long bike ride
- go to Carlyle Lake (the closest thing to a beach we have)
