News about Frost this
| Richard Frost is currently
working on a television docu-drama with Angie Scarth, one of the leading
ladies of Rhesus Productions. Meanwhile, he is busy writing his next novel
(you may read an exclusive extract on the page entitled Holland)
and is seeking an agent. His official website (which you're now surfing!) officially came online in March 2000. 'Brain and Body' was launched to great acclaim in Britain in the last week of April. In October last year, Frost was nominated for the inaugural Amazon.co.uk Writers' Bursaries Awards. Unfortunately, the award's ceremony in December proved the British Old Boys' Network was alive and kicking. The judge, Zadia Smith, who studied at Oxbridge (spent all her time at the ceremony cohorting with her friend, David Baddiel, from Oxbridge) stirred controversy by awarding the prize to a James Flint, of the same age group. He boasts on his website about his carefree dope-smoking days at ... Oxbridge! Stop Press: we are proud to announce that Richard Frost has signed a contract to become the Deputy Editor of the 1Lit.com ezine. As part of the agreement, Richard Frost will script occaisional pieces for the award-winning literary publication. As a child sponsor, you become our partner in bringing positive, lasting change to children. Letters and drawings from your child help you learn about your child's life through his or her own words and experiences. The letters you receive are in your child's own hand, as well as in a translation provided by Field Office staff, if necessary. Throughout the year, Save the Children will send special birthday and holiday cards you can fill out and return for delivery to your sponsored child. They'll also provide you with a Letter Writing kit complete with stationery, pre-addressed labels and suggestions for letters to help you correspond with your child. Best of all, you'll actually see the impact that your sponsorship is having. You'll receive regular status reports from Save the Children staff who work with your child. All it costs is $24 a month.
