Welcome to Down-Play's website!

Many of you may have known Down-Play previously as Crimson Steel. We have decided on a different name and different structure due to what had occured in the previous band. Down-Play is more of a single artist that has other musicians join to do recordings and other such things. Many other artist do this same thing. You might know a few such as Steven Curtis Chapman or Toby Kieth depending on your musical preference. By going by this standard you free yourself from the many different politics of a full time band especially if there is a lack of good musicians in your area that are able to cooperate with each other.
