This is a club dedicated to modeling the real U.N. and its purposes to maintain international peace and security; to develop friendly relations among nations; to cooperate in solving international economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems and in promoting respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms; and to be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in attaining these ends.

As we get ready for state, this website should be a great help to you. If you
have further questions, please contact your delegation leader.
This year has been great so far, and DHS has taken home many delegation and
individual awards at county meets. I would like to congratulate you all for your
success and say thank you for your hard work throughout the year.
When I was in 10th grade, we filled up less than one delegation at state. Now,
two years later, we are taking three full delegations to FHSMUN in March. The
progress of Model UN at Deland High is amazing to me, and I'm so glad that there
are people at DHS who care about the world and how countries interact.
Thank you all so much for making this year the best ever for DHS MUN.
