Our Arena was transformed! There were food vendors and the smells were just awesome!
Members of Sage Riders hung out just to keep an eye on things. Everything was very professional.
The managers even checked cars before leaving to make sure no one left with any alcohol.
I could not stop taking photos of the horses. They were just awesome. Every horse that showed up knew how to dance. So the photos may seem to be directed mostly at horses.
The night started off with a pig catch. You will see by the photos the kids had so much fun. The second pig got away and a few adults were out in the back field chasing down this little piglet.
Then there was a mutton bustin event. One in which the kids had a blast. Note: They were not so geared up that the could not get up after falling off the sheep.
The night had a festive air. Everyone was dressed up nicely. At one point in the event they asked Don, Zan and Don, up on stage to thank them for the use of the arena. Then you will see a banner, of which they gave our arena a dedication.
Umatilla had their ambulance up there during the bull riding. Thank you!
Enjoy the pictures, there are a lot of them.
