This team looks solid, but not as solid as
last season. One of the big things the Bankees went down in was the
catching position. Last year Jeffrey Marshall started there with a
season high 64 homers, this year they will be starting, Santiago
Alveraz this will be his second season, his first was not good at all
with a batting average of .255 and only 1 homerun.
At 1st base they are still solid with Ford
Prefect, he's doing great with his average of his batting average .420
and a .498 slugging percentage.
At 2nd
base they stay the same with new Joe Weeks, only thing losing here is
a hitter out of Chris Guida who now plays for the Washington Eagles.
Weeks is alright last year batting .346.
One of there stronger points look to be at 3rd
base this season with re-turning Teagan Hynes. This guy can hit, run,
and did I mention HIT?
At shortstop
they still have Jimmy Wise, probably one of the best shortstop in this
league, he's only 19 years old and led the league in stealing bases
and amount of hits.
This outfield has
lost it all, something needs to be changed here. They should've
resigned Jacob Kuhlman, but that is just me.
This pitching will do alright with Ethan Spiezer
and Tino Santos and this awesome relief pitching. Only thing now is
they lose there 1-2 pitchers in Pat Ryan and Chris Hart. They will
live without them.
