Sensor unit contains a barometric sensor and temp sensor. Maf converter easily adjust with great accuracy on the fly.

The LT1 MAF installation on this 3000gt allows for the removal of the stock MAS and air filter element. Filters can go right to the turbos in this blow-through setup.

This is a brand new MAF converter setup. This converter inputs the signal form an LT1 GM MAF and outputs a signal that can be used to replace the stock MAF of a Mitsubishi 3000gt, Dodge Stealth, Eclipse, Talon or Laser. Tuning is very simple, and accomplished by only sliding up and down the control lever. Sliding the lever up will decrease the output frequency, which will allow for bigger injectors or any other increase in fuel system capacity. Sliding the lever down will increase the airflow signal and cause the system to inject more fuel then stock value. The error percent in this adjustment procedure is less then 2%, because of high precision temperature compensation circuits built in.

This system also comes with an intake air temperature/ barometric pressure sensor, which no other converters have. This auxiliary sensor unit allows for a much more precise tune, which will decrease the possibility for knock when atmospheric conditions change. Without this sensor unit, you are running the risk of damaging your engine when it is warm outside or when at higher altitudes, because an increase air temp or less air density will increase the likelihood of knock, and without actively monitoring these variable, the ECM will not adjust properly. Tune your vehicle with precision and invest in this auxiliary sensor. It will save you the trouble of replacing vital engine components, if your engine has a catastrophic failure.

This system has be endurance and race tested, and all units leave after a functional input output test. Guaranteed to plug in and run baseline instantly. Installation instructions and tuning procedures are included. This system is designed for off-road use only, and just like any performance item, can lead to damage if not tuned properly. Always start with the baseline and work slowly to your adjusted value. Data logging is highly recommend and is the only way to tell exactly what your ECM is reading. A Blow through setup, like the one pictured on the 3000gt will allow for nearly zero restrictions in the air intake path

This data capture screen shows the stock injectors maxing out shown where the arrow points. The red line shows the engine speed in RPM. The dark blue line on top shows airflow in Hz.

This data capture screen shows the stock injectors online moving up to middle of the graph at maximum acceleration. Airflow was adjusted down when bigger inhjectors where installed.

MAF CONVERTER

I hold no responsibility for installation and use of this product and only offer refunds on properly installed defective units.

When newer injectors are put on the graph shows how the MAF converter can adjust the airflow frequency lower, to make the injector pulse width to decrease linearly to the change. The bigger injectors flow more, so have to be used less for the same amount of fuel as stock. Now the rest of the performance range can be taken advantage of, as the fuel system has been upgraded and able to handle bigger changes.

Data logging is not mandatory, but it highly recommended. As shown in the first graph, the stock injectors are peaking out with better performance parts. Injector pulse width rises proportionally with the amount of airflow.
