5000 years ago ancient eyptians played The Game Of Darkness at incredible stakes {the loser was banished to the Shadow Realm}until one day the Pharoah seeled the powers in The 7 Millieum Items and locked them away. Now 5000 years later the Items were found. A 14 year old boy Yugi Moto ended up with the Millieum Puzzle which contains the spirit of the pharoah himself. Now everytime Yugi plays Duel Monsters the spirit {known as Yami} fuses with Yugi and trys to defeat the oppenent.Until one day Yugi duels Maxmillion Pegasus {holder of the Millieum Eye which can read minds}. Yugi loses and for lossing Pegasus steals his Grandfather's Soul and says the only way to retrive it is to beat him in a rematch in the Duelist Kingdom. When Pegasus is eventually defeated and Yugi's Grandfather's Soul is retrived Yugi hopes to return to lead a normal life once more. However that's not the case.Yugi soon finds out yet another person named Marik is after his puzzle.He also discovers why Marik wants his puzzle because the holder of the millieum puzzle and the three eygtian god cards {Slifer The Sky Dragon, Obelisk The Tormentor and The Winged Dragon Of Ra} shall rule the world. Yugi later gains Slifer.
