Sync no Surf - : Had customer surf into modem and login - Customer is now connected and surfing.
NO SYNC
No Sync - : 1. Confirmed lack of sync 2. Powercycle modem and pc 3. Checked for dial tone 4.Checked account status (Superuser/SOEG) and BONS 5. Checked for EMI/RFI 6.Checked length of phone cord 7. Checked filters and isolated line 8. Called DSG
AUTHENTICATION ISSUES (ERROR 691 OR "LOGIN FAILED")
Authentication issues - 1. Checked and retyped all fields 2. Checked for CAPS 3. Verified username, authenticated cu, and reset password 4. Checked Superuser and SOEG and BONS 5. Checked for hung session 6. Tried test tunnel 7. Called DSG
SYNC NO SURF WESTELL
Can't surf into Westell Modem - : 1: Att to surf into Westell from "run" 2: Configured internet options/Deleted cache and set disk space to 20 MB 3: Checked wiring/ verified lights on modem 4: Checked for valid IP (release/renew) 5. Checked for firewall/disabled 6. Reset modem 7. Checked system resources 8: Disabled unnecessary startup items 9: Disabled NIC, restarted computer, Re-enabled NIC 10: Uninstalled/reinstalled TCP/IP
Sync no Surf: ATM CONNECTION IS DOWN - : 1. Unplugged all cables on the back of the Westell Wirespeed for 1 minute 2. Plugged in the power & phone cables 3. Reset modem and plugged modem into PC 4. Attempted to surf into the modem 5. Attempted to connect 6. Checked for hung session 7. Checked BONS 8. Contacted DSG.
Sync no Surf: DSL Connection is down - : TROUBLESHOOT FOR NO SYNC
Sync no Surf: CANNOT CONNECT TO TARGET SERVICE - : 1. Unplugged all cables on the back of the Westell Wirespeed for 1 minute 2. Plugged in the power & phone cables, reset modem 3. Plugged the modem back into PC 4. Attempted to surf into the modem 5. Attempted to connect 6. Tested for hung session 7. Checked BONS 8. Called DSG
