what is ki energy?

Ki is an eternal energy. It is also called Chi. It is inside everything, and can be used at a human's will. To use Ki, you must be able to visualize very well. The key to using Ki is a place called the Hera. The Hera is located inside your body, 3-inches below your Navel. Visualize it as a swirling ball of green energy. This is where you are going to draw your energy from. To use Ki, You must visualize drawing energy from your Hera, and projecting it out of your body the way you want it to.

The Dan Tien

Your dan tien is the very center of your body, it is located about 2-3 inches bellow your belly button and 2-3 inches inside your body, this is the very center of your body and this is where you gather energy from, all energy you gather to use come from here,before you try to use ki you must be able to feel out where your center is, close your eyes and concentrate, try to feel it deep inside your belly, try to see it, once you can feel it, it will feel like a warm tingly feeling deep inside your belly, now once you find it move on.

Meditation

This is probably,to me, the most important thing to get right first of all, to meditate you can be in either the indian style sitting position, where you sit and cross your legs with your left foot tucked into the back of your right knee and your right foot resting on top of your left knee, the sit that would see in a yoga video!, and place your right hand on your left calf and your left hand on your right calf and always keep your back upright. The second position is simply in a chair, keep your feet flat on the ground and your back upright and your hands on your legs. When meditating you should also concentrate on your breathing, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, this is also known as Ki breathing, which will be described later. Meditation is quite easy, its just a total relaxed state of mind, no thoughts, no worries, just peace. To meditate is easy, just get into position, closing your eyes is optional, i find it easier with my eyes closed, ignore all outside noises and interuptions, then in your mind count backwards from 10, when you reach zero say in your mind "calm and relaxed", then count backwards from 9 when you reach zero say in your mind "calm and relexed", and so on, until you get to counting from zero to zero, then just sit there, your meditating right now and remeber to focus on your breathing, i cant stress that enough. When you dont wish to meditate anymore, then simply count in your mind from zero to 1, and when you reach 1 say in your mind "awakening more and more", then from zero to 2 saying in your mind "awakening more and more", then from zero to 3 and so on until you reach 10 again, when you reach 10 say in your mind "i have awakened", its that easy.... Its advised that you start off by meditating for about 5 mins each time you wish to practice ki, or just for 5 mins in the morning and at night, when you get more used to it, then move onto 10 mins of meditation, then 20 and so on.

Visualisation

Visualisation is another very important thing to learn to do, if you have trouble with it already that is, visualisation is simply being able to picture things clearly in your mind, being able to feel those things, even taste them. You should practice this everday, it helps alot later on. To practice visualisation, the easiest thing to do is to start meditating, and during meditation, try and picture an apple in your mind, see every detail of that apple (this is the way i learnt to do it), now try to pick up the apple, feel the apple, as if it had been there the whole time, now take a bite out of it, taste it, feel less hungry when you swallow that bit of apple. Once you are able to do this, which means practice until you can it might take a week or even a few days depending on the person, when you can do that now visualise yourself swimming! thats right, now feel yourself dive into the water, surrounded by the water, like you are actually there, feel how cold the water is, see a fish ? grab the fish and feel what its like, once you can visualise this stuff, you can generally get the idea how to visualise most things, but practice these until you get them easily! once you can actually eat the apple, grab the fish and so on, once you can do this then move on.

Ki Breathing

Ki breathing is simple, just stand or sit, if standing, have your legs at shoulder lenght, hand by your side, if your sitting just sit like you would for meditation, now all you have to do is breathe in through your nose, visualise that your breathing in energy, let it fill your body, picture yourself and a large empty shell and each time you breathe in it fills the shell, when you breathe out, breathe out through your mouth and visualise it taking away the old energy, the bad stuff. its quite simple. Do this before attempting anything with ki and after. Beginner Ki Ė Beginner Techniques part 1 Ok in this section Iím going to explain some very basic techniques of what to do with your Ki, these techniques arenít hard to do but they do require time, also donít try them until youíve been doing meditation and visualization for at least 2 weeks and have a good feel for it. I must remind everyone that reads this that you cannot, I repeat, CAN NOT! See your Ki after the first couple of attempts, it takes a lot of practice and patience to see your Ki, so do not get discouraged if you canít see your Ki for it wont happen for quite some time to come.

Ki Ball.

This is the very basics of energy manipulation, and the technique that is a major stepping stone to the understanding of most other energy manipulation techniques. Ok Iím going to explain the easiest way, for me, to form a Ki ball. First start out by grounding or using the Ki flame as to get a better flow of Ki until you have a feel for it. Start out by standing with legs at shoulder width, and have your hands placed by your side at waist height, then cup your hands and hold them about 4 inches apart, begin to focus on your Dan Tien, now begin to do the Ki breathing technique, with every breath, visualise the energy from your Dan tien slowly creeping up to your chest, splitting off and slowly going through your arms to your hands and through your hands forming into a small ball in the spot 2 inches below the upper hand and 2 inches above the lower hand, and focus on sending your energy there, after a few minutes of focusing your energy there (time varies with each person) you should feel some warmth or a sort of burning sensation, along with a tingly feeling, and when its strong enough (as in, not the amount of energy but when you get a little better) you should feel a push/pull feeling, like when you have two magnets and they get close but they donít connect. Thatís it to making a Ki ball, everyone has their own way, anyone can get their own way to do this, and this is just my way of making a Ki ball.

Third Eye

This isnít energy manipulation as such but a beginnerís technique none the less. The third eye is actually one of the main charkas in your body, the third eye is the charka that helps you to see peopleís aurasí, this isnít the exact description but that is the main function of it, some people are born with the third eye open, some arenít, the third eye is usually dormant and isnít open,, so now I'm going to explain how to open it. The third eye is located in the centre of your forehead about 2 inches above the eyebrow level. (You can do this technique in any position but recommend having your back straight) Take your normal hand (like your right hand if your right handed or left hand if your left handed), and take your index and middle fingers and place them where your third eye is, (remember the third eye is under the skin, it isnít a real eye though), now close your eyes and begin to do the Ki breathing technique, whilst focusing on sending your energy to your fingers (with every breath visualise the energy travelling from your Dan tien to your chest, then through your chest into your hand and into your fingers and zapping your third eye)(Its best to visualise the third eye as an actual eye and waking up from a really, really long sleep and waking a little with every Ďzapí of energy that you send to it)Once youíre finished doing this (try this for about 5-10 minutes each time) open your eyes and blink a few times, if done correctly you should see a swirl of colours or a colour surrounding yourself or other people, this colour is only their aura and has nothing to do with power or anything like that (remember that the eye will only be opened for few minutes at a time, it has been sleeping for so long and isnít used to being awake), do this for at least 5 minutes at a time, and 6 times a day to get the best results.(do not discouraged if you donít see anything the first few times, practice makes perfect, Ki also takes time! Please remember that).

The Ethric body is a system in which ki flows and is stored. The most important Chakra in the Tan-tien (pronounced Dan-tien). Your Tan-tien is the place where ki is stored. There are 7 Chakra; Crown, Third eye(brow), Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Spleen and Hara Chakra (Tan-tien). The main ones you need to know are Tan-tien: 2 inches below belly button. it is the storage place of all your energy, and 3rd eye(brow): located between eye brows it allows you to see energy and auras with proper training.
