My Little Miss Revlons from the 1950's

This is a large collection of Little Miss Revlon's. The doll was manufactured by Ideal Toy Corp. from 1958 to 1960. The doll was marketed with her dressed in a form fitted bra, girdle, seamed hose, high heeled shoes and pierced pearl earrings or a complete outfit. She has sleep eyes, rooted saren hair, red lipstick and nails. The body is "magic touch skin" (vinyl), with jointed head, arms, and legs, with a swivel waist. The body is strung. Her hair color is either platinum or a medium blonde,light or dark brown, red, or black. The hair styles varied. The eye color is either blue, green, or a brown hazel. She is marked on the back of her neck IDEAL DOLL VT 10 1/2" and high on the left thigh 10 1/2" R. There is also a 10 1/2" R underneath the right arm. The original price for the doll dressed only in the lingerie was $2.98, if purchased with a complete outfit the price varied from $4.00 to $8.00.
