'Beauty'
Rainbow Riders is a Theraputic Riding Stable in St. John's Newfoundland. Basically, we provide riding lessons to children with disabilities! The kids are lots of fun - as well as our horses!
Rainbow is almost solely run on volunteers, and donations/fundraisers. We do a lot of hard work and the kids/horses earn everything they get!
I'm Gillian, one of Rainbows many volunteers (1 of approx 110? or more!). Me and my friends go to the barn every saturday for a few hours. Basically we do barn work (mucking stalls, getting horses ready etc)and work program when it is on!
Program is our nickname for the riding lessons we provide for the kids. Many of our kids ride in a session or two, sometimes three, a year. But we do have a group of competitive, older riders (16 - 17 yrs old), who ride pretty regularly. Sessions consist of one lesson a week, for about 8 weeks. Then we take a few weeks off, or longer depending on the time of year, and start up again later!
Program is so much fun and the kids are a blast!

Update: December 29th, 2003 Sorry I haven't done anything in the way of updating, but I've been trying to get pictures of the horses, unfortunatley, my camera died and only recently got fixed, anyway, all the pictures are up. Most are in profiles, but there are a few group shots in the gallery! Ciao!
Update: November 17th, 2003: Hello again! I realised yesterday that I didnt have Beauty's profile done - anyway it is mostly done now! Also, I added a couple more links but they're not done yet or anything.

I've done all the profiles, well, they're all started, but only half the information is posted because I dont know everything about the horses. More will be done as I get it.
Also, I'm hoping to get pictures this coming weekend and post them in the appropriate profiles!
