My goal: to help animals at the Woodbury HSCA lead better lives and have a great second chance.
How I’ll achieve my goal: I’m going to make “Kits of Kindness”, which are caddies (bags) filled with pet supplies and donated to the Humane Society in Woodbury. There will be four types of these caddies: one each for dogs, cats, rabbits or guinea pigs, and other small animals. Each will only include supplies appropriate for that pet. Only information pertaining to that pet will be put into the caddy for that type of animal. Spaying and neutering information will be included as necessary.
What will these be used for, anyway? The caddies will be given as a reward to any person adopting an animal from the Woodbury shelter. The kits will include information and the supplies I’ll collect. The HSCA can use any extra supplies (or large supplies, like dry foods etc.) to make their animals feel more at home during their stay.
