The biggest concern for performance evaluation is the response time. The measure standards should be defined. Computer center requires a lot of staff and budget to operate and if it is poorly managed, investment will all go in vain.If anything cannot be measured then it cannot be managed.If there is no way to tell whether the computer center is operating at acceptable performance,it means that the company is not at its acceptable efficiency.

Process for performance evaluation
First of all performance of goals or objective must be clearly set.
Performance evaluaion process must be properly planned according to the objective and goals set previously.
Then the team should start observing the performance of the resources used. Observing the performance depends on the criterias set such as processing speed , number of output , uptime etc. These can be measured by the degree of severity used such as green which represent the normal status and red which represent the severity of the resource.
