Panthers Survive Buccaneers Scare; Move to 7-2

The Panthers survived another close game on Delhomme's TD pass to Steve Smith with just over a minute left in the game. The Buccaneers took a late 24-20 lead on an amazing TD catch by Kenan Mcardell. The Panthers then took over and drove 77 yards for the TD and eventually the win. The win wasn't pretty like most of the others, but once again they made big plays in the clutch. Both teams returned interceptions for TD's and Delhomme threw another costly one late in the game. He was able to redeem himself on the last drive with OK passing and great receiving. The Panthers moved to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the division. The Bucs dropped to 4-5 and 1-3 in the division. This win puts the Panthers in great position to win the division and sets the Bucs up for at best a wild card birth.
