d u r k 77: This topic is plainly rediculous. You've got the over-paid, under-worked New York teams such as the Knicks and Rangers that can't even make the playoffs for their respected sports! The Rangers have the highest payroll in the National Hockey League, paying good talent like Anson Carter and Bobby Holik, and have won the Stanley Cup once in the past 63 years! Now the New Jersey teams, like the Nets and Devils, can not only make the playoffs with lower payrolls, but can establish teams that go all the way to the NBA Championship and Stanley Cup Finals! As the new banner outside of Continental Airlines Arena reads, "ARENA OF CHAMPIONS." As the banner outside of Madison Square Garden reads, "P.G.A. Tour Champions." MSG has not had a hockey game played there in 56 days, nor a basketball game played there in 46 days. Enough said.
