Trolls

Trolls certainly do not form an empire as the other entries on the list do, but they are noteworthy regardless because they are so commonplace. There isn't a nation in Norfidia that does not have at least one settlement of Trolls on it's border. Trolls are like ogres, except a smellier, stupider, stronger, uglier, tougher, more disorganized, and above all, hungrier. An unquenchable hunger in the stomach of every Troll drives these creatures to raid their neighbors incessantly. Immediately after the end of the Chaos wars, there wasn't a single Troll in Norfidia, but less than a year had passed before hunger summoned them back from the surrounding wastelands.
