Palandros

Palandros is an ancient order of pious warriors. At the end of the Chaos wars many of the elves who fought bravely against the hordes found that they could not return to civilian life and the Palandros began. Although mostly Crystal Elves, the original ranks of the Palandros were drawn from all three Elvish Kingdoms. As the Elven Kingdoms receeded the Palandros did not until the protected lands were populated entirely by human settlements. Although today most Palandros are humans deemed skilled enough to join the order, the most powerful ranks are still filled by ancient elves. The primary strength of Palandros lies in the valour of the its knights, often called Paladins because of their devotion to charity and law. Skill with a lance is not the only way that humans have found to devote themselves to the cause of Palandros. Innumerable craftsmen also hold titles in the ranks of the Palandros and always there are a dozen new White Towers of Palandros being erected. Note- Palandros has been claimed by a player.
