Marrost

The people of Marrost appear human at first, but don't be fooled, elvish blood flows in their veins. Marrost is named after its first ruler, King Marrost, who was an Elf born in a tower of early Palandros. Finding himself ill-suited for a life of hard work and chivalry, Marrost left his fellow elves to wander until he came upon a barbaric tribe of humans. A natural leader, Marrost lead the tribe to greatness and civilization and styled himself King. During his many human lifespans as King Marrost had innumerable human wives and legions of children. After his death the leadership of Marrost was passed on to a line of successively more weakly elven blooded Kings, all named Marrost. Today a uniform hint of elvish blood lingres in the citizens of Marrost, who boast of being "the best of both races". In some respects these people are correct, as they live longer than humans, are more commonly sages than humans, grow faster and stronger than elves, and are more likely to produce heros. These advantages went to the heads of the leadership of Marrost a long time ago, and today extreme measures are taken to ensure the purity of the race. Note-Marrost has been claimed by a player.
