History of Norfidia
In Eons past, Norfidia was ruled by chaos, constant conflict swept across the land. Out of this chaos emerged the three kingdoms of elves, and with them the great war of chaos. The Lattux, Grendex, and Umbrax drove back the legions of chaos and divided Norfidia among themselves. For millenia after this the peace of the elves reigned across Norfidia. But...the empires of the elves waned, as elven empires are want to do. Nations of men began to grow and form their own cultures and the elves receeded peacefully.
In recent centuries, however, strife has pitted humans against each other. The fortifications built by the elves and long used by men to keep the exiled chaos races at bay have fallen into disrepair. The conflict between the leaders of men has spilled over into the sacred lands of the Elves. Mighty lords or stone and iron have unified the dwarves, previously isolated villages but now proud empires. Trolls have wandered back into Norfidia and are sure to be followed by more exotic exiles. Though on the doorstep of oblivion, each of the three ancient elven peoples has produced a prince of renowned skill bent on reviving his kin.
Only time will determine who will shape Norfidia in the imminent conflict.
