HUNTINGTONS ROCK MUSIC OFFICIAL!!!!!!!
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: PLASTIC SURGERY
Josh from the HUNTINGTONS gave us permission to post post post! Thank you so much Josh. Lemme tell you, we have and will continue to support them vigorously.

Also I wanna say HAPPY FREAKIN BIRTHDAY PATRICK!!! My bro just turned 30 and he got a new dog named ELVIS. What a rocker! Over the years I got him some koolio stuff like autographs from DANZIG, GUNS N ROSES and both PAUL STANLEY & GENE SIMMONS. This year he's getting lemon merange pie. Here's to 30 more and I hope they're all top notch.

Atlantis Management
Mood:  vegas lucky
We heard from the down under, our buddies in Australia at Atlantis Management. They manage FUR PATROL, CASSETTE (great site) and TLBT. We look forward to helping promote them here in the states. We'll keep you posted on what's going on with them. If you didn't know CASSETTE appeared in the June issue of ROLLING STONE and it included a free CD with their tune "Nothing To Do". Look around for it! TLBT is on the "Everything" tour with FUR PATROL and PACIFIER. Be sure to check out their official websites k. Allan Cowles

Now Playing: Joan Jett
What a great Saturday! We heard from some very cool peeps today and I must say we're all stoked here at MO.

1. Devil Doll - you gotta check em out!
2. The Huningtons - hopefully I can post their CD soon!
3. Inhuman - lemme post some grafix dudes k!

I added a section for flyers and polls, so if you have a flyer for upcoming events e-mail us and I'll post it. I imagine that'll be cycling a lot. As you may already know we prefer to hook up the underdogs (which is free) so send us those jpg's of your covers and logos. Allan Cowles MOWM

Afternoon break
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Leather Tuscadero
I've been going on and on about press kits only to realize that we didn't have one. As EXCEL would say "Jokes on Me". Well now we do, so there! Check out the SUB POP label page for even more info on HOT HOT HEAT and BLACK HALOS plus a whole bunch of other kewl skewl bands. We finally got our POP 3 account activated. 2 bands of great import that don't have official webpages are INFECTIOUS GROOVES and ETC. Many of you know of the former but it's the latter that matters (jk Adam and don't beat me up Mike). Think I'll go ahead and add the polls after my nap, hmmm... Allan Cowles B)

P.S.
It's Fat Mike's job to keep punk rock elite not melodic/emo/skankabilly/garage/punk!!!

Summer time and the living is cheeeezy.......
Mood:  lyrical
Now Playing: POINT & CLICK - PASTED YOUTH
We heard from ALL ACCESS and MISUNDERSTOOD this morning. I added a WORLD NEWS section for the 411 on local scenes and the like. We also got accepted into the CAPITOL RECORDS press group. I'll keep you updated on all their goodies. On the LIGHTER FLUID side, as a Californian I can't wait for Schwarzeneggernomics to "Pump up the Budget". I'm thinking Reagan II. I believe it was Cervantes who stated that those who don't know their history are destined to repeat it. Conspiraacy theorists do the math. Allan Cowles :B

Day Nine Inch Nails
Mood:  hungry
Now Playing: Bonanza the T.V. Show Theme Music Digitally Remastered
It's the 9th day this site has been up. The statiSTYX are staggering. Already we've received 2 e-mails! Go check out ECLIPSE RECORDS!!! NOW!!! RIGHT NOW!!! Eclipse is one of those labels that had remarkble press kits with a website that oozez quality. Wanna know their secret? . . . fewer clean images are better than tons of crappy ones! Here's an idea, instead of complaining about "we used to be Music Television but now instead of videos we only have shows for morons" why KNOT call and request a MUSHROOMHEAD or a SLIPKNOT video. Who ever thunk that VH1 would some day be cooler than MTV? :P

Official Websites - Who's Got & Who's Not
Pink's website is down and Oingo Boingo doesn't have one. I wanna recommend some label sites that are pretty in pink coolio :)

1. Epitaph
2. Fat Wreck Chords
3. Lookout
4. Honest Don's
5. BYO

You can find them under the LABELS page. I can not stress enough the importance of PRESS KITS, not just a press page of reviews but actual promotional tools for things like web promos and store promos (that's why Epitaph bands are highly promoted on this site). They usually contain grafix of artists, release covers and logos, as well as your reviews. I suggest that your press coverage be in PDF. Have fun!
