Mega Man 5

In the year 200X, a visious army of robots is bent on destroying the world!! And behind the destruction is...ProtoMan?!

Protoman comes and kidnapps Dr. Light. Mega Man tries to stop him, but, it is too late.

Dr. Cossack Contacts Mega Man.

"Cossack to Mega Man! Cossack to Mega Man! Come in Mega Man!"

"Protoman has gone wild! City Hall and the spaceport have been totally destroyed and the city's power grid is in shambles. I've never seen destruction on this scale before."

I know you're worried about Dr. Light, but your first duty is to free the city from the grip of Protoman's robots. I can modify your reactor to give the Mega Buster a little more power, but the rest is up to you. Dr. Light and I had been working on a special project, but it's not finished yet. Maybe if I can get it working, it might give you an edge."

"Remember to watch your back Mega Man. Protoman seems to have become more ruthless than we had thought possible. Good luck."

"Cossack out!"

Mega Man's Mega Buster get's a little more power. Mega Man now faces against eight more Robot Master's.

And Mega Man's brother is evil. Or is he?

Mega Man 5 introduces many unique features, such as the Mega Tanks. And, Mega Man's brother has turned evil.....

Play Control: *****

The same as the previous games. Near perfect.

Graphics: *****

The graphics are clean and detailed. The backgrounds were about the most detailed ever on the NES. Capcom even included some Paralax Scrolling.

Animation: ****

The same as the previous games.

Music: *****

Mega Man 5 has some of the best quality audio the NES can get. The Opening, Title screen, Wave Man's, Gravity Man's, Star Man's, Gyro Man's and all the music is good. It is just a shame, however, that the same music is used in all 4 levels of Protoman's castle.
