Before I joined this group, Budding HTML Gurus, I was very amazed how the lake and snow applets also known as java applets worked. With the help of this group I was able to understand how to handcode it. An example of snow and lake applets follows.

Isn't it cool! I love these things.

Photography is something that's still a mystery to me. I love taking pictures and I still can't figure out those manual settings that the professionals used. I want to learn them so I can put my camera in good use. But I know in due time I will learn them just like learning to do this website. Accomplishments starts with a small step, so I'm willing to take baby steps to learn it. I took this picture using the macro range mode option with shutter speed of 1/4000 and aperture value of 2.8.
