Lend A Hand (Vietnamese Youth Organization), founded on November 22nd, 2003, is a non-profit organization that was founded on the belief of helping impoverished children in Vietnam. Lend A Hand consists of young, motivated, and determined Vietnamese-Americans who realize the reality of life and want to make a difference. Lend A Hand believes that medical attention and education go side by side; if one does not feel well, he/she cannot perform well. In addition, without proper education, one cannot find cure for diseases. The mission of "Lend A Hand (Vietnamese Youth Organization)" is to provide health care and educational assistance for children in Vietnam. The objective of Lend A Hand is to raise money benefitting impoverished children as well as promoting teamwork and leadership skills. Lend A Hand cannot say that we will be able to help every child, but we will help as many as we can "one child at a time". We must never forget our origins . . . for it is our roots that make us who we are today . . . Founder, Duc T. Dinh
