LAGUNA NIGUEL TROOP #2327

This is just a work in progress, please wait until I finish before making mean comments. Thanks.

Even tough we had not gotten five girls at this time; we still treated the girls as if they were a troop. A Juliette troop.

This difference did not stop us from having fun. We went to Knott's Berry Farm during October. The park was decorated for Halloween. The girls went on a hunt for monsters. With each monster they met, they picked up either a toy, like a Snoopy watch, or candy. This was a beginning of a great troop to come.

Please, visit Knott's Berry Farm with your troop. The girls loved it. The troop leaders loved it. And, Knott's is great at helping the local communities.

A Special note to those who can go within this month.

Canned Food Drive January 5 - February 1, 2004

Bring a can of food to the park and pay just $12.95 for a full day of theme park fun. Food donations will benefit The Orange County Food Bank to help feed the hungry in our community.

In the first part of December the girls had the opportunity to fill a requirement for one of the patches we have been working on. Teresa took Patrica and Holly to see Man of La Mancha, a play in which Crickets older brother was a part of. Dana Hill High School did a great job and the girls really enjoyed the experience.

Man of La Mancha

Play by Dale Wasserman. Music by Mitch Leigh. Lyrics by Joe Darion. Derived from the classic Spanish novel, Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes.

We now have 4 girls in our "Juliette Troop" and having even more fun. The girls wanted to participate in the Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade on Saturday the 13th of December. And what a great parade it was. Building Character was this year’s theme and how great was that for Girl Scouts.

Building Character and the Six Pillars of Character; Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. What every Girl Scout represents.

It was a beautiful day as you can see by the pictures we took along the way.

After the parade we took the girls ice-skating. What energy these four girls have. They walked in a parade and then still wanted to go ice-skating. I do recommend this deal. They get a patch, hot chocolate, a lesson, and the leaders get to skate for free. They let you bring your own food, but they also have a snack bar. If you have any questions, give them a call, or write to us at the e-mail at the bottom of this page.
