So here it is, my new car. It’s a 1993 Honda Civic Coupe. The engine is
a 1.5 Lsi 16 valve. As of yet there are no modifications to the engine,
that’ll get sorted when I’ve finished the exterior. This pic shows from a
front-side view the “Intruder” front bumper complete with mesh. The current
alloys are only 15” Fox Evo 5’s, which will be upgraded to 17” Gold
Wolfrace Voodoo’s very soon.

This pic shows the rear of the car. The bumper here is
still standard, and I’m debating about whether of not to change it to a
nice Wings West or similar. Also notice the lack of spoiler which I will
soon be rectifying, with an Impreza style complete with LED brakes. The
clear rear lights look rude, but I might change them to the Lexus-style
rear lights that you probably see on other nice cars.

This view highlights the side skirts which are “Delta
force” available for most cars (I’ve seen them on Nova’s and Corsa’s).
These skirts look sweet but stick out a bit, so I have to be careful of
kerbs and speed bumps. Also you can see the new “Mugen” graphics down the
sides. For those of you who don’t know Mugen are a Honda tuning company,
and the engine chip I plan to get will be Mugen-mapped.
Hope you like it so far,
but it’s gonna get a whole lot better soon. I recently had a Cat 1 alarm
and immobiliser fitted just to make sure it’s not gonna go
walkabouts. There are a few more things I need to alter such as the
exhaust, which is still standard. I’m planning to get a single-pipe
mongoose or HKS full system, adding a few extra brake and making it sound a
lot meaner. Then once the new 17’s are fitted it’s more than likely gonna
need to be lowered. Once its all finished I’m hoping to have one of the
best modded motors in Medway, but how can I compete with a guy I know who
owns 2 Nissan Skylines, or
sum-one with a Mitsubishi GTO twin-turbo!! That’s what I have to compete
with, but they may be a little out of my league, but I’ve always got Ginty
to race (Mitsubishi Colt Glxi with a double-overhead twin cam!) Fortunately
his engine is only about 10 BHP more than mine so he proves a worthy
opponent, well better than Dick in his 1.3 SR Nova! Pics of both these
motors and more on the mates cars pages. I’ll keep you all posted on the
progress with my car and how the new mods are going. When its all done I’m
gonna take it down Southend and check out the other cool motors down there,
cos I ain’t been for ages.
