When I was looking for an idea for a webpage, I thought of just about everything...My hobbies, my favourite animal, and even putting together a mixed-up
mess of everything in my life and just put it out there. But logic prevailed, and I eventually decided on a page, which, I hope will be an entertaining
and educational look at owning and working with a guide dog. Some of the content was put together by me, and some of the content was sent to me by friends
of mine, and I thank them for their contributions. The page isn't meant to offend anyone, it's just in interesting and very amusing look through the eyes
of those of us who own service dogs, and our four-legged furry companions, to which we owe our greater freedom.
On this page, you'll find links to resources for the many guide dog training centers there are in Canada and the United states, training phaises from puppy
to officially trained guidedog, things we as guidedog users would like you to know about our dogs, a photo gallery of guidedogs, both at work and at play,
stories, poems and tributes to our dogs, and a section devoted to humour, which does include questions we get all the time that we wish we didn't have
to answer over and over again. I may also include other things over time, so check back often for updated content.
Class assignments
First things first...Let's get the boring stuff outa the way. Well, actually, the assignments weren't all *that* boring, and I did learn a lot. Here are all the assignments for the class I actually made this site for.
