"Old Dominion University’s e-mail is not user friendly. This is because the java
application for the toolbar doesn’t always work on all computers. On others it
takes too long to load. The rich text applet is not as noticeable to users.
Student announcements fill up user’s mailbox, which already has limited space.
The e-mail system is not aesthetically pleasing. Some on-campus computers don’t
allow pop-ups, which don’t allow users to access other features such as the
address book and delivery options of their e-mail account. The allotted
attachment size is small and doesn’t always work. At times the system is down
restricting access to the mailbox. When trying to forward O.D.U.’s e-mail to
another account, it is not always compatible."
