SHINGLES
- Apply honey directly to the sores in a mix of 80% honey and 20% Vaseline. Cover with a clean cloth. Repeat Daily.
- Apply a mix of 4-6 drops of sweet almond oil and juice of 1 lemon and juice of 1 lime.
- Use vitamin E on the shingles.
- Take a large dose of Vitamin C, as much as tolerated, 8000-10000mg as soon as diagnosed. Divide this into 4-5 doses taken through out the day for the first 5-7 days.
- Take astragalus 2-3 teaspoons per day to boost your immune system.
- Apply a mix of honey and garlic made by added 8 peeled garlic cloves to 2 cups of honey and allow to stand in a warm place until the garlic turns opaque.
- Ask your druggist to mix you a paste of 10 crushed aspirin / 10 Tablespoons of chloroform. Apply several times a day as needed.
- Bath in water to which you have added 1 cup of baking soda, or cornstarch, or oatmeal powder (made by placing uncooked oatmeal in a coffee grinder or food processor).
- Cold wet compresses can help control the itch.
- Don’t use capsaicin ointments until the blisters have healed.
- If the blisters get infected treat with peroxide.
- Calamine lotion mixed with 1% each phenol and menthol can be applied to heal the blisters.
- Apply fresh juice from aloe vera leaves.
- Apply real apple cider vinegar (not just flavored).
- Rub the inside of a banana peel on the eruptions.
- Do not eat chocolate, legumes, or nuts, especially peanut.
Do eat eggs, fish, tofu, and lean pork or beef.
- Take Vitamin B 100 mg 3X a day.
Take Lysine 500 mg 2X a day.
Take Vitamin E 400 mg 2X a day.
