HEADACHE

 

General Headache Information:

 

Place warm cloth on the back of the neck for relief

Rub aching temples with a cut lime or a peeled onion

Dab temples with pure peppermint oil

 

 

Specific Migraine Information:

 

Avoid MSG and watch for other trigger foods.

Eat 1 tablespoon honey and second dose in ½ hour.

Aspirin based remedies are helpful, but Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not.

Green apple smell may help.

Eat fresh feverfew leaves- one each day as a preventative.

Breathe vapor from boiling mix of ½ cider vinegar (the real stuff) and ½ water for 25 breaths.

Take CoQ10 (150 mg daily) and Quercetin.

Take magnesium on a regular basis

Take Butterbur extract 150 mg (50 mg 3 times daily) for 4-5 months. Then quit unless headaches returns.

 

 

Single Headache Cure- 100 mg Butterbur when headache starts then 50 mg every 2 hours. Not to  exceed 250 mg. The 2nd day take 50 mg in 3 doses.
