DIGESTION / INDIGESTION
Things to improve Digestion:
Drink Rosemary Tea ( 1 teaspoon of dry leaves steep in a cup of water brought to a boil for 15 minutes and sweetened with honey and a dab of lemon if desired).
Eat fermented foods at least once a day. Examples:
-Yogurt -Kefir
-cottage cheese -cider vinegar( with the mother still present )
-tamari -Tofu
-fresh sauerkraut
Eat fresh pineapple and / or papaya (not too ripe) with meals.
Eat curry or take Turmeric capsules before a meal.
To Relieve Indigestion:
Eat protein first.
Eat small meals slowly and chew well. Maybe eat 6 instead of 3 meals a day.
Drink 2 oz. of fresh cabbage juice.
Sleep on your left side.
Don’t lie down or even bend over for 2 hours after eating..
On arising stretch way up on your toes and raise arms above your head. Fall abruptly onto your heels. Repeat three times.
Avoid eating raw fruits and raw vegetables together.
