DIARRHEA
-Boil rice in 3 times the normal amount of water. Strain the water and drink 2 cups of it. Diarrhea should be gone in 30 minutes. On rare occasions it may be necessary to repeat this in three hours. It basically never fails.
-Barley water is also good Bring 1 cup of barley to a boil in 1 pint of water. Drain and discard the water. Add fresh water and boil again. This time drain and drink the liquid.
-For fever and diarrhea boil 1 quart of water and add 2 handfuls of squash or pumpkin leaves (chopped). Allow to steep for 30 minutes covered. Drink one cup of the liquid every 2 hours as needed.
-Simmer a teaspoon of allspice suspended in a strainer in blackberry juice for a few minutes. Give a baby 1 teaspoon every 4 hours, more for older people.
- Steep ½ dozen barely ripe diced persimmons (Am) in 3 cups of water covered, for ½ hour. Drink one cup of liquid and then another 2 hours later.
-Drink 2 glasses of carrot juice.
-Drink blackberry leaf tea.
-Eat a handful of blueberries
-Eat bananas
-Grate an apple and eat it.
-Eat applesauce with 2-4 tablespoons of carob powder
-Eat yogurt
-Drink slippery elm tea
-In a pint of water add a 3 finger pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 tablespoons pure cider vinegar.
-Take 10 or more garlic capsules.
-Drink 1/4 cup of honey in a glass of water.
-Add fresh lime juice to a little hot water and give it to infants.
-Add 3 tablespoons black pepper and half as much kelp to a pint os boiling water.
-Swallow 3 or 4 drops of pure peppermint oil in 1 or 2 ounces of water on an empty stomach morning and night.
