Canoeing At Hungerford

Entertainment on the Friday night was provided by a trip to the haunted (allegedly) gibbet used to hang the bodies of executed criminals. The spot was chosen for its views, and our arrival coincided with the sun setting in spectacular fashion over the Berkshire Downs. The group were suitably impressed, as could be guauged from comments such as 'wow, is that it?', and 'It's freezing, can't we go back now?'
