What's New? [ Sunday, April 25, 2004 ] It has been awhile since I have updated this webpage. And it has been even longer since I have made a short film. A couple weeks ago Noel and I made this scribble film one Sunday afternoon. It took about 2 1/2 hours to film and two nights to edit. Seeing how quickly things went there, I decided to up the playing field. I believe that we have gained enough experience and we have definitely "leveled up" ha ha. So I am going to try to film a close to a real short film as I can. I have spent the last couple of weeks writing, merged some old scripts and here it is. My multi-series short film adventure. My best short film to this date! Alliance (Make sure you stop by the Alliance page for current updates) [ Thursday, October 1, 2003 ] This will be the new home of Vision Films. Since many of has graduated college the current status of this short film group is on hold. However, since I am the owner of Vision Films projects are always on the backburner. So if the situation arises ... so will be the camera in my hands!
March 2, 2002 : From 11:00 - 3:00 today we finally shot some final footage of the fight scenes for Morning Class....oh my gosh is there some great stuff in here! Today was a very productive day. Thanks everyone for coming! Some clips will be up in a few days. I am really proud today, I finally got my 540-aerial kick down. Only took me about a week and a half to get it down. Although it is not perfect. March 1, 2002: I just drafted up Shukuun (translation: Destiny). The first episode of a planned 6 part Action-Drama series. This is going to be an experimental series with Intense action with special effect fighting (or at least that is what I hope). I already have the skeleton of trailer set up. Now all I need to do is film it (darn midterms and Finals). Guess that will have to wait 'till Spring quarter February 6, 2002 : I have just finished revising the Morning Class script! It is 9 pages in length!!! Also, Jarrett has storyboarded many scenes. We are going into full production for Morning Class! February 3, 2002 : We have begun shooting our second short film! The sequel to the action-packed comedy of "Night Class" We guarantee that "Morning Class" will be twice as good as it's predecessor! It will have at least twice the action, twice the comedy, twice enjoyment!!! Stay tuned for this upcoming short!!! April 29, 2001 The filming went great yesterday. It took a lot longer then I had expected. Also with a battery life of 45 minutes, makes things a little difficult. But don't despair, we will film the rest of the scenes today. Reviewing some of the scenes today, we are going to have to re-shoot some scenes, and add more close-ups to various scenes. Because of that video and sound editing is going to take longer. So our short film will probably won't be released for another couple of weeks. But don't worry a trailer will be up soon! April 27, 2001 Tomorrow we will be filming "Running" at the Business Building from 3:00 to whenever. Remember, everyone to bring all of the necessary props, clothes, etc. This should be great, I can't wait. At least something good will come out of this week! April 23, 2001 We didn't get to film the previous weekend. I had forgot about Open House being that weekend. So it was a little crowded. This week is very hectic for the majority of us, and the weekend is going to be pretty busy. But I will definitely squeeze some filming in. April 12, 2001 I am planning to start shooting Running (my short film), hopefully in 2 weeks (April 21 - 22). Though I just learned about Alex's script tonight, so we'll see what everyone's preference is. But who knows another script might turn up soon. Either way, I would like to get started filming a short film now while the quarter is still early. March 3, 2001 Welcome to Vision Film's grand opening. We are just in the planning stages of short films. But check back for the updates. We will start filming Spring Quarter (April). |
