Lovebirds are one of the smallest birds in the parrot family.  Averaging 4 to 5 inches in length, and available in a wide range of colours, these beauties can be an extremely loveable pet.  

Kakarikis (New Zealand Parakeets) are a larger long tailed parakeet that are mostly green in colour with a splash of red on their foreheads. Males are noticably larger than females. These birds are highly active a pleasure to watch.

Meyers are a medium sized parrot, that are mostly a dark grey (almost black) in colour. This dull colour is highlighted by a brilliant turquois belly and at maturity they gain a splash of yellow on either their forhead or slightly further back on their head, as well as some yellow on the shoulders of their wings.
