Sarah Michelle Gellar graduated two years early and with excellent grades from the Professional Children's School in New York. Her acting career started at age four when an agent discovered her in a restaurant. She was casted for the movie "An Invasion of Privacy".

During the course of her career she appeared in over 150 commercials , 9 movies and 13 tv series.

Her most famous role before Buffy was as the character Kendal Hall in the soap opera "All My Children", for which she received an Emmy in 1995 in the Young Leading Actress category. After two and a half years on "All My Children" she left the series and moved to L.A., where she was casted as the lead in Buffy, the Vampireslayer.

Aside from her acting career, Sarah participated in competitive figure skating for three years. Other hobbies are scuba diving and rollerblading. She also has a Maltese Terrier named Thor.

Although born in Greenville, James Marsters grew up in Modest, California, where he graduated from Davis High School. His first role was the character Eyore in a scholl performance of "Winny, the Pooh" and he wanted to become an actor ever since.

He went to the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in Santa Maris and later on to the renowned Julliard Academy in New York. Because of the greater variety in entry-level theater he moved to Chicago, where he stared in several plays, on of them being "The Tempest". He loves "Macbeth" and it is his dream to direct a movie about the play.

Taking the advise of fellow actor and his idol Micheal Winters, he moved to L.A: in 1997, in order to make a living. Thanks to a childhood friend, who is working as a casting director, he got small roles in two episodes of "Northern Exposure" as well as an appearance in the third season of "Millennium", before he got casted as Spike for the WB show "Buffy, the Vampireslayer".

James Marsters is divorced and currently lives in L.A. His cat Zachary recently died of cancer.
