I want to thank all of the knotties that I "borrowed" pictures from!!

This is my fi, Stephen and I. These pictures were taken in March 2003 on our incredible vacation.

This is my wonderful son, Justin.

Everal Barn and Homestead. The site for our ceremony and reception! Isn't it beautiful!?!

My dress before any fittings. I am way too short!!

My dress after final fitting .

My dress bustled from the back and from the side.

This is my tiara that I won off of ebay!

My beautiful necklace! It has a matching bracelet.

My only bridesmaid will be my sister. I was so excited to find a dress for her in a color that I love and that looks wonderful on her!! I did tell her that I was going to pick out a dress that made her look extremely fat, but I am a nice sister and picked out this dress that makes her look like the toothpick that she is. Don't tell her I put the second picture in my bio, she will kill me!!

A closer up picture of the detail on her dress.

I think that I have the cutest flower girls in the world!!

I still can’t believe that we found such cute dresses!! We found Ayla’s (the oldest) at Once Upon A Child and Trinity’s (the youngest) at a wonderful store called We’re 4 Kids in Eastland mall. Ayla’s dress is the smaller version of a wedding dress sold at David’s Bridal. What 8 year old doesn’t dream of having her own wedding dress!! It looks so great!! Trinity’s dress is so perfect for her age and twirls very nicely. You know that is important when you are 4 years old!! :)

I left it up to Stephen to pick out the tuxes. I gave him a piece of the ribbon that is the same color as my sister’s dress and said do what you want. I am so glad that I did, I don’t think that I would have picked out the same tux for him! It is amazing that we have been together for 9 ½ years but I am still learning things about him!! He chose to have his vest and tie white and to have his Best Man have a blue vest and tie.

We wanted to include one of his good friends and my brother into the wedding but I didn’t want to have to deal with deciding on which two of my many friends to have as bridesmaids, so we are having them be ushers. I know it is very glamorous but it was all that we could think of to have them be included. Anyway, they will be wearing their own black suits and possibly renting the same blue tie as the Best Man’s. Who knows!! That isn’t my department and I don’t have to worry about it or be the one to make that decision! (I say that with a huge smile on my face!)

My son who is 10 years old will be the bearer of the ring bearer. He feels that he is too old to be the ring bearer but didn’t want to walk me down the aisle or be a groomsmen. He does like the idea of having to be in charge of his 1 year old cousin who will be the ring bearer. We haven’t decided on how Beckham will get down the aisle yet. It will probably be a wagon or stroller but might end up being Justin dragging/carrying him. However it works it will be cute. We found a cute little tux off of ebay for Beckham and I found a nice black suit that is almost identical to Beckham’s tux for Justin.

Here are the bouquets that I made. I made my bouquet, my matron of honors and the anniversary bouquet.

I made this for my flower girls to carry. (It really isn't as big as it looks!) But have decided to use for decorations.

So they will carry this instead.

This is what the ring bearer will carry.

I made all of the corsages and boutonnières for the wedding party. It really wasn't that hard to do and it is another thing that I can cross off my list as being done!

This is my fiancé, Stephen's boutonniere.

This is one of the boutonnieres for the groomsmen, ushers, ring bearers and fathers.

This is one of the boutonnieres for the grandfathers.

This is one of the corsages for the mothers.

I like these ideas for the aisle..if the weather cooperates and we are able to have an outdoor wedding.

I love this arch but with a few more flowers.

I also like this arch but with a rounded top and not so many flowers.

This is going to be we guest book but we decided to use a photo matte instead. This will be at the kid’s table so that they can draw us pictures in it.

I made it for under $5.00!! I used an artist sketchbook, covered it with scrapbook paper and then hot glued the ribbon roses.
I am thinking of adding ribbon and a bow along the side.

This is what we are going to make for our card box. Thank you to the knottie that I stole this from… I can’t remember your name.

I made this to hang on the door entering into the reception area.

We will have a mix of round and long tables. I really like the idea of having pictures of us throughout the years scattered throughout the reception, so there will be pictures stuck in the flowerpots on the round tables and smaller frames on the longer tables. I think it will help people to move around to see all of the pictures and not just sit in one spot. Here are my ideas for each…There will be more flowers in the pot on the round tables (I just stuck a few in a pot for effect).

We are HUGE fans of the Simpsons and decided to incorporate that into the wedding in little doses. If fi had his way everything would be Simpsons…thank god for compromise.
Our toasting glasses….

Our cake topper…

All of the cakes I like. They make me hungry!! : )

I made “Will you be our flower girl?” cards for our flower girls. They didn’t turn out as well as I had planned but the girls won’t care.

I love our Save the Dates!! I placed a magnet in the middle of the card that hopefully everyone will put into good use. Under where the magnet is I put the date and location of the wedding. That way when the magnets are being used off the important information will be on the note card also. That way no one can say that they forgot when the wedding was!!

My ring!! It is actually a yellow gold. My wedding band will just be a simple plain gold band. I know our rings don’t match but how often are the two rings going to be side by side. I don’t like my fat fingers so we aren’t getting the traditional picture of the our hands with the rings on.

Fi’s wedding band. It is a titanium band with a brushed satin finish. I love it! Oh yea… so does he! :) He usually doesn’t wear any type of jewelry (not even a watch) so it was important to find something that he liked and would feel comfortable wearing.

This is the rehearsal dinner invites that I made..

This is my rehearsal dinner dress and shoes. It is black with small ivory dots. I don’t know why but my camera really picked up on the dots. They really aren’t that bright.
