My Computer
Thank you for visiting my page at Angelfire. First of all that case in the picture is my computer case. The name of it is X-bee because of its colors, yellow and black just like a bee.
Well my favorite part of my computer would have to be my motherboard. This motherboard is really sweet. I say this because of the things it does. One thing is that it says it only supports 266 memory but I am using 333, which is overclocked to run at 400. Also it's a MSI motherboard. I choose this because i've always been partial to their motherboards, plus I like their red color.
The brains behind all of this is of course an AMD. The AMD cpu I use is the 2400+. I have this processor overclocked to run at the speeds of the 2600+, which is two times the price of the 2400+.
My first video card I used in my set up was a GeForce2 Titanium. The card was good but I needed better. So I done what any computer geek would of done....I got something better. The video card I choose was a GeForce4 4200 TI. Just like my motherboard I bought a MSI video card.
About a week ago I got a new hard drive from my uncle. The hard drive is a 80 GB western digital special edition. By special edition I mean that it has 8 MB of cache where as a regular hard drive has only 2 MB.
I actually have two drives, a DVD and a burner. The DVD I got by trading my 40x CD-ROM. The burner is a TEAC 40x12x48x. This burner also has 8 MB of cache just like my hard drive.
