IRAQI NEUROLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT

 

Our Mission

The Iraqi Neurological Association is a professional society of academic neurologists and neuroscientists devoted to advancing academic neurology in Iraq; to training and educating and updating neurologists and other physicians in the neurologic sciences; and to improving quality of neurological care provided to Iraqi patients.

 

 

Our Vision

1. Seek to establish and maintain effective cooperation of all persons active in the field of medical sciences, public health, and social care, who are, or may become concerned with problems related to neurology.

2. Promote publications concerning neurology and encourage the use of the journal of the World federation of neurology W.F.N., for the promulgation of the new scientific knowledge about neurology

3. Organize or sponsor national congresses, symposia, or other meetings.

4. Appoint special commissions or individuals for the purpose of studying specified problems related to the mission of the association and making recommendations for implementation of specific activities.

5.  Bridge the gap between the iraqi neurologists and the advanced world through upgrading  and updating our members and staff by refreshments through contact with recent advances in neurology.

6. Become international and national spokesman of Iraqi neurologists and neuroscientists.

7. Become the official reference for evaluation of neurological research,education and care in Iraq.

8.Develop and apply other methods consistent with the mission of the association.
