Band of the week : Idlewild

Scottish indie-ers Idlewild have just released their 4th full-length album, the mainly acoustic 'Warnings/Promises'. They are fronted by Roddy Woomble, and despite being well-known they have never had great chart success (with single 'I Understand It' charting at #34, and new single 'El Capitan' receiving very little publicity. However, they have landed large support dates in Summer with R.E.M.
