With the Pathways program DeLaSalle Education Center is building a nurturing support system that will create career and college pathways, which will connect students to mainstresam oppurtunities for success. The Pathways program offers support to the DeLaSalle students to help them transition successfully into post-secondary education or training. The Pathways program started in January 1999, In partnership with Penn Valley Community COllege. This unique partnership allows students to earn both high school credits for their class work. as well as college credit. The DeLaSalle Pathways counselors who work with these students on campus provide important academic and social case mangement support, which inclueds monitoring student wattendance and performance while they are enrolled in classes.
