PRESENTATION 2008
.Garden
Village Under 8s celebrated another successful season at the Garden Village
clubhouse at
Stafford Common on 14th May 2008.
 
Most-Improved Player and Player of the Year
2007-2008
 
We have had quite a busy season. With 2 teams
we have played 155 matches, against 35 different teams so far.
We won the Kilgetty Tournament, put in a good performance at the Garden Village
Fun Day, and finished 1st and 2nd at
Briton Ferry. This season we have scored a massive 360 goals so far, and these 4
boys have scored almost half of those
between them. our top scorers:-
Tyler, Thomas, Scott and Dexter.
This season we have won 106 matches so far, thanks to our hard-working midfield,
who, as well as contributing to our tally of
goals themselves, also set up goals for our strikers, with their great passes,
tackles, crosses and corners:-
Lewys, Callum, Ben Jones, Connor, Jay,
Rhys and Ben Jordan.
Helping us to win so many matches is the fact that we have had 96 clean-sheets
so far this season, thanks to our superb defence,
and our brilliant goalkeepers. Not much gets past them:-
Alex, Jack D, Aled, Ioan, Luke, Brody,
Kieron and Jac E.
We also have our up and coming stars who train with us and have played a few
matches. We hope to see more of them at
matches next season:-
Daniel, Tian, Josh, and Kieron
 
Manager, Dai stifles a yawn as his warm-up
act whips the audience into a frenzy, and then the coaches adopt
their best "auditioning for the Kays Catalogue pose" while Dai tells
the boys how good they are.

PRESENTATION 2007
 
Garden Village Under 7s celebrated a successful season at their Presentation
Evening held at the Garden Village clubhouse,
Stafford Common on 28th May. Trophies were presented to the boys by Swansea City
player,
Leon Britton.
Garden Village Under 7 Team 2006-2007
 
Alex was presented with a trophy to
recognise all the hard work she does helping the boys in training,
keeping them in line at matches, and inspiring the boys with her tactical
genius.
The Under 7s Manager, Dai was presented with the Secretary's Manager of the Year
Award.
 
Player of
the Year, and Most Improved Player of the Year.
