We played some great football at the Garden Village Fun
Day Tournament on 7th
May
at the Garden Village Club, Stafford Common.

This years Fun Day was held at the Garden Village Club, Stafford Common, on
Sunday 7th May 2006
We entered 2 teams, Garden Village and Garden Village Colts. Both teams played
some great football
and both teams reached the semi-finals. At the end of a very exciting day Garden
Village Colts won the
final against Plough Colts. Both teams made their coach and parents very proud.

GARDEN VILLAGE BOYS DO WELL IN THEIR
FIRST TOURNAMENT !
On Saturday 29th April, the
Garden Village Under 6 Boys competed in their first tournament. A squad of
8 boys travelled to Kilgetty to play against teams they had never faced before
in a warm-up for the
Garden Village Tournament on the 7th May. Check the Results

GARDEN VILLAGE BOYS PLAY
THEIR FIRST MATCHES ON GRASS !
On Saturday 25th March, the Garden
Village Under 6 Boys team played their first matches on grass in
Parc William, Loughor. They won both their matches, beating Loughor 7-0, and
then 2-1. A great performance.

GARDEN VILLAGE BOYS WIN ALL THEIR MATCHES !
On Sunday 15th January, for the first
time, the Garden Village Under 6 Boys team won both their
matches, and didn't concede a single goal.

Mini-Football at Neath
From Sunday 8th January, the boys are, once again playing 2 matches every Sunday.
Kick-off is at 9-30am

Garden Village Under 6 Boys squad
at Neath 4th December 2005
The boys have now started training 7pm till 8pm every Friday indoors at Leisure
Leagues.
The first training session there on 9th December saw the boys so full of energy,
that they all
came away positively glowing. Its amazing what a difference it makes not to be
shivering with cold.
GARDEN VILLAGE LUCKY SHORTS WIN !
On 23rd October, for the first
time, all the boys actually wore the official Garden Village team shorts, and
stormed to a 3-0 victory against Gowerton. From now on, we will always remember
to issue the boys with their lucky shorts.
GARDEN VILLAGE FIRST VICTORY !
On 16th
October, Garden Village Under 6 Boys achieved their first ever victory. They
beat Cimla Utd 1-0.
We hope to win a few more matches as we get better and better.
