Dear Sensitive Goans & Goa lovers,

It pains our hearts to display these photographs to the whole world. But then India is the biggest democracy and people do things of, for and by themselves. In our recently released "Road Map for Goa" we have mentioned the tale of the city of Surat. This is precisely the reason for doing that. It is said that if the pains and aches within the body are brushed aside and not acknowledged, these little pains and aches will take you to the grave sooner than expected. So it is with the garbage problem in Goa. We cannot brush these pains under the carpet and let the world believe that all is well. No. All is not well. 

Our politicians, for years on end, have brushed aside this messy subject, content in just collecting and dumping the mess at a few places, never giving a thought for the growing Goa. Those few places are saturated as they must be, and behold ! the state of affairs of our quaint little towns and cities. What you are seeing here is just the Mapusa Town with its world famous municipal market, originally built by the Portuguese. This is the town of our IIT ex Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar. He is now in the opposition so he can point fingers at the ruling Congress coalition government. But we must remember that this is the legacy of his mindless governance of hate, vindictiveness and massive polarization of the Goan society. 

It is said that the standard of living of a society is judged by the state of its market places. The standard of our Goan society, thanks to the intelligence of the people we vote to power, is reduced to the mess you see. Are we happy and unconcerned with all this?? Yes Sir, we are, to the extent of passing the buck. If we were not, most of our loud-mouth politicians would be made to roll in the mess you see until they choke to death just like the French guillotined theirs, very many years ago.

Goa is a touristic attraction with the tourist season eagerly awaited by the government of Goa with dripping mouths so to speak. Hark ye tourists world wide. Please do yourselves the favour and stay away from this very beautiful virgin land made into a stink-hole which can take your precious life away. No, we are not against our very own Goa. We love her and we shall die for her. But first we want to pack these political hyenas in the wilderness, restore the pristine-ness and the beauty of our Goa and then welcome you with open arms with garlands of very special flowers, just like in Hawai, so that you may enjoy your vacations to the extent that you will want to come back over and over again for more and more to taste the unique Goan friendliness.

It is with this intent that we have put out the "Road Map For Goa". This piece of work is the hard work of several years extending to lifetime gone by. If this does not work, nothing will, and this tiny jewel of the east will be forever lost. The Road Map is available for download on our home page. You are most welcome to browse through it.

Please do not weep for Goa. She is not yet done to. There is hope. There is the light which still shines through the light-house of Goa Su-Raj. It will sweep across the length and breadth of this tiny jewel and shine her up like never before. And that day is not too far away.
