As
soon as we receive fixtures from the league, these will be posted here and on
the team pages.
We will try to let the girls know where they are playing each Sunday at
Tuesday’s training session.
However, this is not always possible so it is the girls’ responsibility to
contact the relevant manager.

VILLAGE UNDER 12s RUNNERS UP IN
PONTARDAWE TOURNAMENT
The Under 12s finished runners up in the Pontardawe Tournament
on 27th May,
after a very close final.
GARDEN VILLAGE UNDER
10s WIN
THEIR FIRST TOURNAMENT at PENTREHAFOD
The Under 10s won the first
League Tournament at Pentrehafod,
on 12th November, after qualifying first in their
group.

UNDER 14s Training is on the tennis courts, 6-30 to 7-30 every Tuesday at
the Elba
UNDER 12s Training is on the tennis courts, 6-30 to 7-30 every Tuesday at the Elba
UNDER 10s Training is on the tennis courts, 5-30 to 6-30 every Tuesday at the
Elba
Girls should wear trainers or astros, not football boots
Subs of
£10/month are payable at the first training session of the month from
September to April
The subs will be used towards: outdoor and indoor training, pitches for games,
entry to Leagues and registration to other organisations
including West Wales FA and Boys & Girls Clubs, entry to tournaments, cost
of trophies, and maintenance of our pitches.
All players will be entered into a weekly draw with any winnings being paid to
the parent or guardian.
The West Wales FA has instructed all clubs who are affiliated to them to provide
all players with insurance.
This we have done and will be paid for from subs.
Once again, the teams would like to thank
for their continued support and sponsorship for the new season.
Sponsorship
As
the girls section continues to grow, we are looking for more sponsors. If you,
or anyone you know would be prepared to
provide sponsorship (any amount would be gratefully received), please contact
Louise.
All players need to have completed their registration forms.
If you have not yet registered, contact Louise.
REQUIRED
EQUIPMENT
Playing kit is provided by the club (except socks, available from Louise for £3.00).
This is only to be worn at games
and returned at the end. We operate a rota system to wash the kit and hope that
everyone will take their turn.
All girls MUST wear shin pads to training and games and bring water and shower
jackets.
Please make sure you have suitable footwear. Football boots when playing on
grass
and trainers or astros when training on the MUGA.
We appreciate that it can be expensive, especially with girls growing so quickly
so we are introducing a system where
outgrown equipment can be bought by younger/smaller players. This will not only
keep down the expense and
encourage more girls to play but will also provide much needed funds which will
be used towards our Christmas party etc.
Garden
Village merchandise is available, but not essential. Please contact Louise if
there’s anything you would like to order.
