THE
GIRLS' (and supporters)
PAGE !
Girls, we need you to fill this page with your own stuff.
We want jokes, drawings, photos and anything else you
can think of.
Give your efforts to Louise at training or email
them to us.

Dont be fooled. This is a photo of the grass at Pentrehafod, taken by Louise.
She only got the ball in the picture by accident !

Louise invested in a new camera for
the new season. She is having so much fun with it, that she has even been
photographing the various pitches the Under 12s have played on ! Below are
genuine pictures of the grass. Scary.

"GARDEN
VILLAGE EMILY ?" OR "GARDEN VILLAGE AMY"
After last seasons unfounded rumours that Garden Village Colts (previously known
as Village Sport) were to be renamed
"Tim's Real Athletico Garden Village Colt Sport Tuesday United 2006",
and the suggestion that the team
would change their name each week to confuse their opponents, we now hear that
Tim intends to field a team made
up entirely of Emilys. Tim has denied this, although he did concede that it
would make life easier for supporters
cheering from the sidelines, and that he almost has the required number of
Emilys available for a complete team.

Bizarrely, the Under 14s are attracting a similar amount of girls called Amy,
although the various ways that the girls
spell their names has allowed this takeover to previously go relatively
unnoticed. Supporters have resorted to nicknames
for all the Amys, but could Tim be attempting to quietly take over the older
team as well?
Is Tim an alien bent on taking over all the Garden Village girls teams?
Will any girl playing for the Under 10s or Under 12s have to change her name to
Emily?
Will the Under 14s suddenly decide they all want to be known as Amy from now on?
Will this have any effect on the teams' performance and results?
We think we should be told the truth.

Report
on the Wales Match
By Alex
On Wednesday the 9th of February a lot of members from different
parts of Garden Village A.F.C. all met up at the club at 5:00pm to go and see
Wales V Hungry at
the impressive Millenium Stadium We
all got on the bus and it took us one hour to get there but it was all worth it.
When the bus stopped we got off and walked to the millennium stadium. From the
girls section there was Alex, Kayleigh, Katie W, Lorna, Charlie, Lois and Jessica. It was a cracking
game with some super play from new boy Sam Rickets (Swansea city) and 2 lovely
goals from Craig Bellamy (Newcastle U.T.D.)
I really enjoyed the match!
