When looking at these statistics, please remember that a team's performance is a
result of the efforts of the whole team.
It is easy to count goals scored. It is impossible to record saves, tackles, runs
and passes that are just as important to the team's results. It is also
impossible for any of these figures to reflect the high level of skill, effort, commitment and
enthusiasm shown
by all the girls week after week.
2006-2007
Garden Village Juniors
Under 14s are playing their first season of 11-a-side football. A core of
very experienced
die-hards have been joined over the last year by some new recruits, and are
currently enjoying a tough new training regime.
Garden Village Juniors Under 12s are playing their
fourth season as a team. The core of this team have been playing
together for quite a while, and they have been bolstered by the addition of the
older veterans of last years Colts
Under 11 team. They play 7-a-side mini-football.
Garden Village Juniors Under 10s are playing their
first season in this new age group, although some of the players
are the younger veterans of last years Colts Under 11 team, who were playing
against teams much older and bigger than them
(and very successfully). It will be interesting to see how they do, now that
they will be picking on someone their own size.
They play 7-a-side
mini-football.
