And We're Off...
So. You've found my tiny little corner of the universe, and you're wondering what to do with it.
Nothing. Just sit here and let me gab for a bit, will you?
Today, I woke up late and missed the book study. The mother of studies, the one where we FINISH The Isaiah book II. And was that a long book. It took us two years to finish both of those books. Then after I missed the book study, I was rushed to the Kingdom Hall and met with my friends to go down to the Loop and shop around. I ended up finding (drum roll, please)... a perfectly-good condition, vintage COACH(!) pair of pumps for only $28.50. Is that a deal or what? When I arrived home, I immediately rubbed the inside with alcohol, really, really well. Who knows just whose feet have been in there. The feet of a really, really classy person, that's who!
But now I'm home.
All alone. Aargh. My parents, my sister, and my grandma (who came yesterday), are at a wonderful little baby shower. It's a surprise, but I'm sure the happy couple already know by now. It's only six o' clock. I wonder when the shower will finish. I've already cleaned the whole kitchen (I'm a sucker, I realize this). Everything in the house is neat, and cute and organized. But now I'm really tired. I was up until ONE THIRTY IN THE MORNING last night, in a Honda Odyssey, going to pick up my grandma. Or as I call her, Moe Moe. It's a hick thing, you have to understand.
Well, I think I'm going to chill out right now. Have fun.
