Codec – “Compressor-Decompressor” or “Coder-Decoder”. Codices are programs used to read and play encoded audio and video files. They can encode stream and/or signal into a transmittable form, or decode for viewing and/or manipulation.
Frame-rate – Also known as frame-frequency is the measurement of how quickly an imaging device can produce unique images in a row, which are called frames.
Quality to Size Ratio- The higher the size, the lower the quality. The lower the size, the higher the quality.
Compression- The compressing of any type of multimedia, most notably graphics, audio, and video.
Resolution- The level of detail of an image.
Quality- The degree or grade of excellence of an image or video.
File Size- the size of a file. Generally the higher the size of a file, the more detailed a file is.
